At Kawempe Mile Race, we believe that talent should never be limited by circumstance. Beyond creating a platform for young athletes to showcase their speed, strength, and passion, we go a step further connecting exceptional runners to life-changing scholarship opportunities.
Through our strong network of local and international partners, we identify and link promising athletes to schools, colleges, and training programs that offer academic and sports scholarships. These opportunities help athletes advance their education while nurturing their athletic careers.
Every year, several athletes from the Kawempe Mile Race secure scholarships that transform their lives and communities. Their achievements motivate us to expand our network and continue creating pathways for more young people.
What We Do
Partner With Institutions: We collaborate with universities, high schools, and sports foundations that offer athletic scholarships.
Identify Talent: Athletes who participate in the Kawempe Mile Race are scouted based on performance, discipline, and potential.
Mentorship & Guidance: We guide selected athletes through the application process and connect them to the right opportunities.
Follow-Up Support: Our team stays in touch with scholarship recipients to ensure they settle in well and make the most of the opportunity.

ISF World School U-15 Volleyball Championship
Uganda set to participate at the ISF World School U-15 Volleyball Championship in Shangluo China.
The tournament will take place from 4th December to 13th December 2025.
